Roasted Lotus seeds recipe

It is been more than two months of time since I opened this blog. Personal things kept me occupied and pushed the blogging back to some extent. During this period, I spent some good time with family which rejuvenated myself and now I feel much better with some family favorite recipes.  When I said family favorite,to its odd, I remember an unusual ingredient and its recipes from my draft which my family unaware until I prepared and showed them the recipe.

It is Phool Makhana. I just came across this pack during my monthly shopping to a Nearest shop and inquired the shop owner about it and the uses.  Being exposed to a food field, I was familiar with its name but still wanted to get some idea from him. He freely suggested few recipes without measurements and the ways it would be used in North India.

I tried the roasted snack which is pretty easy, takes no time to prepare. It is also very easy to munch, gives nice crunchy feeling to the mouth. Owing to the health benefits of the lotus seeds, the less oil and spices it has, can be enjoyed without any guilt compared to any other munching snacks. Perfect snack while u read a book or watching your favorite channel on Television.

Notes:
